End of day photo's. Ok quick update, the lower floor part of the Summer House now has a floor which has been polythened out, and insulated with polystyrene then boarded over. 3 sides of the frame work are up and screwed to the brick base. 2 sides have the inner boarding on. 1st photo looking from the inside, the opening to the left is for French doors and the 3 openings on the side are going to be glass. The 2nd is looking in from the French doors end.

Oh er Chuckles - my OH reckons there is no such thing as 'one' job - it always results in others!! x Tig That alas is very true. But the swimmingpool can't be the worst bit of extra job ;D Although I noticed you boarded it up You will have to repair that sideboard or you might get big problems when it rains again. As for progress.... can I borrow your men? I think we need a new front wall with door for the shed at MssK and I can't do it on my own.

I'm well chuffed with what has been achieved in 3 days. I reckon we are 1/4 done, so still lots to do. Off the top of my head there are electrics, roof, windows, french doors, other half of flooring, insultation in all sides, outer boarding hope I can keep him here until it's finnished off properly. I'll put you all on his waiting list ;D I've been waiting 10 months for him to start this job Not much is going to happen over the weekend unfortunatley, might do a bit though we'll see. It's OH's birthday tomorrow and he always goes Clay Shooting on a Sunday so Monday I'll be cracking the whip

;D You lot do make me chuckle ;D there is room for 6 people but OH has a permanent booking on the lounger seat I wish it was all set up and done now, I could just do with some therapy on my poor aching bones right now. Guiding it into position yesterday was hard work, we had 4 people including me hanging on to it to stop it swinging and bashing the fence and the summer house walls. It weighs some and made 4 strapping blokes huff and puff a bit when it was lifted onto our trailer. We couldn't have got it into the garden without that lifting machine. Mmmmm champagne, maybe I should get a little fridge in the summer house bit too ;D

Me posh CPB Na, ok the posh voice maybe comes out if the Vicar comes for T and he ain't called in 27yrs ;D I can't believe how the boys have worked today I'll try and get some mor pics later They keep moaning at me when I go out with the camera. They don't moan when I go out with mugs of T and bacon and sausage sarnies or the cream muffins they had today All the wiring is in place but not connected, sparky has to come and do the connecting. Two sides are insulated and there are bits of polystryene floating about everywhere, outer boarding is on 2 sides and the window frames are in. The work they've done in just over 4 days is amazing. I reckon OH will be sleeping in it for a week to relax his aches and pains. BTW anyone is welcome for a splash about ;D Just had a thought, I wonder if it will be a good home for some seed trays
