More pics please Chuckles ;D S x I will Susie just as soon as it's clear of dust sheets, step ladders, and tins of paint. At this rate the internal stuff will take longer than it did to build ;D Trouble is OH wants to keep using it now he's been in it and we have to be careful with the steam from the tub and the paint. It's a fight to get through to get in it atm. Tis fab though and I'm using it daily Sat in the Summer House and ate my lunch the other day, felt very grand I'll be cutting the crust off the cucumber sandwiches before long Na not Chuckles style

The best thing Chuckles is that it is being used - so what if it isn't all painted perfectly, if the windows are steamed up no-one else can see You have done a brilliant job - definitely summat to be proud of - are you taking bookings yet? x Tig

I've managed to get a bit more done in and around the new summer house, things are slow atm though. A few pots have appeared to have found a home on the old wall under the full length window, not sure if these will stay there or not yet. I've had strict instructions that I'm not allowed to grow anything up the summer house We'll see ;D Some work has been done on the wooden frame work for the roses etc but still a bit more to do and a new pathway has been laid from the patio area. Still got lots of debri to clear up, pavers etc The inside is almost fully painted now and starting to feel really nice. At night it's fab with the light from the tub on and a few candles I have lit. Will be even better when we have some more outside lights up the garden. In the day time it's great to see the garden, only been in a couple of times during the day I've moved an old chest in to keep bits and bobs in and a couple of garden chairs and small table for now, also put up an old bathroom cabinet on the end wall (only place it could go) to keep the chemicals in for the water. I'll get an inside pic witht the lid off and one at night when I get the chance. The last bit that needs painting is around the 2 edges of the tub which butt up to the wall, these need doing whilst you are in the tub, any volunteers ;D

It's looking just great Chuckles! I'm an absolute expert with a paint brush That chest on the right wouldn't be your 'little' project of some time ago would it?

I can't help it if some stray bits from a Clem or two happen to attach themselves can I Amo The lid folds in the middle and it fits perfectly down the left hand side of the tub, I'm getting to be a dab hand at getting it on and off now ;D it's not particularly heavy, just awkward. The chest isn't the project one Shrub, it's just an old modern pine one that I had years ago to store stuff in, it needs painting really, another little project I'm thinking of painting it blue like one of the colours in the canvas on the chairs and then rough it off to show the pine through on the edges. Mmmmm now how many paint brushes do I have. You'd all be very welcome I have to say I've only missed going in it a couple of days since we have had it, OH has even started having dips in a morning before work. This afternoon an old work mate called in and we went off to a GC and then had 90 mins in the tub relaxing and chatting, then had a lovely curry cooked by OH then went back in the tub for and hour, bliss So glad we did it all now, especially having the tub inside. Can't wait now to get the surrounding garden area sorted.

OOOOOH yes please. Would he object to a landscape or some painted plants along the back? ;D All the art thread ladies, and ok gents allowed too, in the pool with their own brushes. That would be quite a sight Stray bits growing up? Isn't that half your garden Love it Chuck but do give the man a chance to paint the outside before you accidentally let some strays up the sides. Or does it not need a coating?

One coat of paint now on around the edge Dutchy, OH did it I'm currently trying to think of some clever way of putting planters in front of the summer house with some sort of trellis in them for smallish 3-5ft climbers. The wood is treated so doesn't need anything for a few years yet, the old shed was blue but I think as this is twice the size it may stand out too much if I painted it a colour. Well I had such a busy day in the veg garden yesterday and I ache all over. I think I'll just go and have a nice 30 mins in the tub and try and loosen up a bit ;D Mmmmm maybe I should take the paint brush and paint with me.................... Oh dear I can't seem to find were OH has put them

Love the view Chuck ( esp the feet ;D ) Now is the water slightly blue or what? ( And is that Guru Fakir peering around the door by the striped recliner? ) Lovely and well done give OH a pat on the back ( you proly did that already but hey a little extra can't harm ) Somehow the pics remind me of those luxury far away hotels. Lucky you

Apologies folks I'd totally forget about this thread It was a bit steamy Amo but I promise I was all alone in there ;D Bath robes are what you see near the door Dutchy, Guru Fakir lurking in my HT, Nooooo. It does feel like I'm in one of those luxury far away hotels Dutchy, this time of year it's nice to go in there in the dark and just have the tub lights on. You can change the colour to suit the mood, don't like the red light though, like a blood bath Jasmine, you haven't missed the chance to help decorate because I still haven't done it Suparuthie, I checked this morning and I've still got 5 toes ;D Last Friday I had a full day shopping with a friend in Nottingham and as soon as we got home guess what we did ;D Oooooh it was bliss after a day trudging around the shops, we didn't hit the wine though just a big mug of tea
