I got an email from Farmer G offering me another 5% off if I went back and finished off my order so I had to really. Got Peony Lollipop for £30.01 in the end and also treated myself to Amaryllis Hercules.

Hook, line and sinker then Jasmine - I never spent my bonus as I'd have had to pay postage. Joined Sarah Ravens email thing today so have 10% off my first order .... and spotted a peony I fancy, who cares if there isn't a space, it can grown in another container for a while.

I'll blame LG for my order with Parkers today... I remembered I wanted the yellow flowering weigela middendorffiana & the cheapest was at Parkers, but ... I also spotted a dwarf flowering one called All summer peach, and then there were two rhodos, Norfolk Candy & Sun Fire that caught my eye I did manage to resist buying bundles with extra plants I didn't want, the individual plant cost would have been cheaper, but I would have spent more in the long run for plants I didn't really want, if that makes sense.

Ha ha @tigtidia I'm just on with farmer gracy and I was thinking about you and Jasmine and how bad an influence you are. I've gone ahead and ordered Peony Cora Louise × 1 and Peony Magical Mystery Tour × 1 you two are getting the blame.

They look lovely Ladygardener! We called into a Morrisons while we were away and I got a mixed bag of daffodils to fill some spaces on the front bank - they were a bargain, and I also got a couple of boxes of violas and a little houseplant called Gynura which has the most gorgeous velvety leaves. It was only a pound! Oh, OH also found a 50p peppermint and a 50p oregano!

I loved my Krinkled white, sadly it died after a couple of years, think the area it was in was too dry.

Krinkled White - that's the one - thought I was Jonathan Ross for a minute! I don't have dry areas in my garden just varying degrees of wetness!

I've ordered "Julia Rose" for Ruth as a little pick me up present. They're going through a rough time at the moment and this might make her smile. Glad to hear you got your "Magical mystery tour" Tig.

So pleased I was able to help Ladygardener! On a serious note I hope Ruth enjoys her present. I've just got my Farmer G order and it is so beautifully put together it's a treat just opening the box.

Thanks Jasmine. Yes FG always present their plants and bulbs beautifully. Our order of Peony Cora Louise and Peony Magical Mystery Tour are on their way. I hope the rain stops for a while whenever they arrive so we can get them into the ground. Primula are so lovely maggy, I really need to divide some of ours.

Well that 'promise' didn't last five minutes .... darned Sarah Raven and her tulip sale Not only have I bought 55 more tulips, but also another ITOH peony (all that jazz) and geranium rozanne as I managed to 'weed' mine out when removing the self sown masses of geranium phaeum.
