Have just seen your latest post KL, don't know how I missed it He must think you are doing well, to have you thinking about your test already. Think you are a bit of a Wonder Woman too.

Been out again this morning - not such a triumphant lesson, seem to have took a step backwards some how. Made some silly mistakes so not quite so pleased with myself. Did manage to recover myself quite well tho so I suppose its not too bad. Did the reversing exercise in one go again, its much easier without a seat belt and although its wasn't a perfect lesson its all practice. Probably getting to cocky about it!! Anyway I am still on course for having my first test in August, will have to do a lot better than I have today if I want to pass first time tho

There are many people who cannot reverse a car, never mind a lorry. You must be great.

Very average! I dont like him much - he is a bit too flash for my liking....gold watch, big merc etc etc etc. and he keeps making remarks about wearing a tie. i.e would you like to see me with only my tie, shoes and socks on Ermmmmmm No ! I think he rates himself quite highly - I would love to know what his wife is like. He is a means to an end and despite what he seems to think - I do not find him in the least little bit attractive I must give off the wrong vibes or something, men always seem to make iffy suggestions to me and I really dont ask for it (well dont think I do!) Had a driver commenting on my legs today at work - I told him to go forth and multiply bloody cheek of it! At least I am gobbby enough to let them know when they overstep the mark and I definatley can do that without a problem ;D

A comment on your legs KL?? How could he see? Please, please tell me you aren't doing your lessons in a skirt!!!! At least you're tough enough to tell them to FO, you're going to get a lot of that if truck-driving becomes your job; they think political correctness is something to do with Government! ;D

I have been known to wear a skirt for my lessons, if I have been at work before the lesson. Not a problem for me - if they dont like it they can do the other thing! but the gentleman in question was one of the drivers at my work. I am used to the lorry drivers charm! I spend 8 hours a day 5 days a week surrounded by them They dont cross my eyes, in fact I have been known to out swear them on the odd occasion ;D ;D

Well done KL, just catching up on your progress It is good that you have some brill lessons (confidence boosters) and then some not so good (reminders that life is constant ups and downs!) - you won't get complacent, even driving a car these days takes a lot of concentration and diligence, I can't imagine even trying to drive a truck, so I think you are a already! Get that theory test booked and done girl x Tig

;D Your good vibes worked quite nicely WeeT ;D Had a quite succesfull lesson, and although it was quite busy it was no where near as bad as I thought it would be. Some smart arsed bloke in an Audi got a bit shirty with me when I didn't pull out on a busy roundabout but Melv flagged him and showed him some new and interesting hand signals as he squeezed between me and the bollards! Honestly some people have no patience, and if I had a nice new Audi there would be no way I would try and squash it along the side of a 30foot lorry DICKHEAD !! ;D Must have been on a promise Came back on the motorway again - I love that its so different in a wagon you can see so much more. Wooooooo hoooooo roll on August ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Being up high and being so BIG is great. My second husband drove a big oil tanker, and I used to go out with him for the day sometimes. Aye, I've lived

Bad news people have had to cancel my lesson My darling daughter starts her trident in Doncaster tomorrow and I have been volunteered to pick her up and bring her home I suppose she is more important than my lessons (but only just !!) So next one is on 19th July then thats it for 3 weeks while he is on holiday and then its hopefully intensive lessons and test time
