Thanks for all the noms.. some more bees from me - the garden is full of them at the moment - not surprising with the temperatures that we are having... Right Auricula - don't look.... Yesterday only one and today two!! RF

Amazing close up shots chaps...you are all sooo talented! I can't get the detail with my camera...but spotted some different bumblebees in my garden. I think these are bombus leucorum (please feel free to correct me...it's how I'll learn!) I think it's a male as it hadn't any pollen baskets and had yellow tufty hairs on it's head. This might be bombus pratorum or bombus lapidarius and we are still getting lots of bombus terrestris...
