I'm sure you'll all have a lovely time Plocket. My Daughter Jenny and her 2 girls are hopefully coming up later today. Before they arrive, I hope to get some seeds sown. I think a trip to the GC is in order at some stage over the next few days. I hope to get Hannah planting some sunflower seeds too.

The boys used to like planting sunflowers LG - then we would see whose grew the tallest. They have a golf lesson this morning - they've only just started and they love it - and while they are there I shall pop up the road to the GC and get some more double trailing busy lizzies. Have a good time with your family LG.

This weekend I plan on re-pointing the brick wall at the end of the garden...a first for me ;D And sorting out my daughters garden tomorrow........she only moved in last summer and I was waiting to see if there were any bulbs planted...apparently not so it looks quite sorry for itself it needs a good clear out of all the deadwood and weeds. Boy am I going to ache on Monday

No doubt you will ache MRH so try not to overdo it, but how smashing to have a blank canvas to work on when all the weeding and clearing is finished. You never know what you'll find coming up. Hope your collection goes well April, at least it's not raining on you. I'm having a quiet weekend, might get out to the garden either today or tomorrow. I have a lot of tidying up to do in the house which has fallen behind a bit ::)The forcast is for showers so I'll see what happens.I've no visitors coming this weekend as Jenny was up last weekend but I'll see both Daughters and all the Grandchildren in 2 weeks time. ;D Hope you have a good old time catching up with the Family Steve.

We are renewing the fly door and what a job it has already turned out to be. Just in to make coffee - neighbour is also here and it is a job and a half. We are still trying to get the door off the hinges after an hour.
"It will only be a couple of hours work" will probably turn out to be an all day job and the air will be blue.

Good luck with that Rf sounds like it's a glass of wine you'll be needing at the end of it. :)These things often end up taking so much longer than you think. I was reading about your disasters with it, if it's not thing it's another sometimes is'nt it.

Have a good time at the pub AL and make up for the grot day. I'm always surprised that a garden can escape not having any spring bulbs MRH - ours didn't have any either. My sister's new garden didn't last year but that was because she and her OH are in army accommodation and in between the old folk moving out and my sister moving in some kind soul strimmed the garden flat! i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/rolleyes.gif Hope the garden clearing went well. I've taken the boys to golf and done lots in the garden today. Tomorrow the boys are off to swimming at the place they go for lessons to help out with the swimming teacher training.

We are going to Duxford on Saturday - it is a family Scout trip. The boys have been before when we lived in Essex - I'm not sure about all the walking but hopefully there will be somewhere for a cup of tea and cake...and a sit down!

I think I remember that being in the news FB. This weekend I'm going to transplant some seedlings and maybe sow some more night scented stock. Hope if the weather is fine to get out and do a bit of tidying up in the garden. Hope you have a great day tomorrow with the boys Jasmine, I could imagine them loving to see the planes etc... Hope you find somewhere for a nice cuppa.
