Do just a little bit, Auricula - nearest the house so you see your progress. Go on! You'll feel better once you've started on it.

Nope...just death and destruction.....and it's now raining again Not even a sign of any spring bulbs which I find quite odd - I have crocus, snowdrops, daffs and tulips planted, but not so much as a shoot tip

I can't believe that - I found the first snowdrop in flower today! Sorry you had rain - no point in trying to garden in that.

My Feb editon just came through the letterbox. Free tomato seeds, I wish they would send something different.

Consider yourself lucky LG - in Germany you never get free "anything" in any magazine....a sachet of Dove lotion perhaps now and again but never free seeds....they don't even reduce them here - just bin them - same as reducing plants...they would rather throw them away.

Sorry - I missed your post LG - it was the February one. Why oh why do we get lettuce and tomatoes like you say. And to make it almost funny I have enough Gardeners Delight for the whole of East Sussex to grow tomatoes...hope they don't send school more this year We had a GC like that close by RF but slowly they have begun to make a reduced corner.

Mine arrived this morning, with the free Gardeners Delight seeds, now I like Gardeners Delight but I only grow about 4 plants a year & like you Jasmine I could probably supply a small county by now. I was going to ask you if you wanted them for school, guess that's a no then i221.photobucket.com/albums/dd161/GWDAdmin1/Smilies/Default/grin.gif Still at least the lettuce will be useful as cut & come again. What would be helpful if the magazines ran a survey of some sort to ask their readers what seeds they'd like - but it probably wouldn't work. We're all so different.

Gardens Illustrated arrived this morning. There's some interesting articles in it - 100 must-have garden plants chosen by the likes of Carol Klein, Roy Lancaster etc... and features on hellebores and snowdrops amongst other things.
