Thanks Jilly - Gardening Which was here when I got home last night. The front cover is very pretty...all those pots of tulips!

I read the article on tulips this morning Jilly. I loved the different gardens they showed tulip displays in and next year I'm going to try the following combination - Ballerina, Queen of the Night and Jan Reus. I really liked the Tulip Sprengeri, bluebells and cow parsley together too although I won't be buying enough Tulip Sprengeri bulbs for the display they showed! I also liked the tiered display of terracotta pots with a different shade of purple tulip in each pot! Will get the magazine in the post to you Ladygardener and I'll put your teasel seeds in the envelope too!

I've done Ballerina and Queen of the Night for next year, I thought they were lovely together. Looking forward to seeing the article, thanks Jasmine.

Knowing my luck they'll bloom at different times Jasmine.

If they're being suggested as part of a collection they should overlap for a good bit of time Ladygardener. Fingers crossed!

Yes you would think so but I've had the Daffodil February Gold blooming in April. Unless it's been mislabeled.

I'm hoping to get a read this afternoon of GW. I did'nt get my copy of Garden Answers this month, I'm sure it should have been here by now. I'm not sure if I cancelled my subscription or not but if I have I'll wait until Feb or so to renew it as I know there won't be much in it over Dec Jan.

There's a reason for that Auricula , I brought it into the office to post (like I usually do) & it's still here, under a pile of customer statements, actually. It's now on the top of the pile, I'll get it off tomorrow, promise

I'm soo behind with my magazine reading, still got 2 RHS mags & the latest GW not even opened yet . I've got a Garden Which that I've finished & one that's not been started & that looks the most tempting as it's got Snowdrops on the cover . I'll get that one read first & then get both of them off to you Jasmine at the same time.

Can't wait Jilly - although I am going to be restrained with snowdrops this year - or that's the plan anyway! My Three Ships have disappeared since last year so I am going to concentrate on the ones that do well in the garden rather than the ones I think I might like.

Yehhh! That's quite a late flowerer too Jilly. I like to see the little shoots coming up - it means there's something there!
