I am trying to focus on my magazines at the moment and stay away from Candy Crush Saga and Bejeweled - both of which I have become addicted to after flying so much!

Just to help with that Jasmine, I've just put the last 2 issues of Garden Which in the post. Had to laugh, they've done their mail order plant survey again & T&M are now firmly in the bottom 5 (& they didn't even ask me  ) |

Thanks for the 2 English Gardens which arrived today Auricula  . Looking forward to a year at Perch Hill, I know SR can be a bit irritating at times, but I forgive her because I love her style & taste in plants. Just need to confirm, do they go straight to you Ladygardener or do they stop of with Jasmine on the way, I've got a bit out of the swing of things over Christmas |

Glad they arrived safely Jilly, enjoy!! I saw Sarah Raven on tv last night..... think she may have been enjoying too many NT cakes at Sissinghurst  She's ok in print - it's the patronising tone of voice makes me want to slap her with a wet haddock |

Another interesting article in the Jan/Feb Gardening Which was the best way to plant snowdrops, aconites and bluebells. Aconites are apparently the hardest of the 3 to get to grow or come back. Bluebell bulbs often turn out to be Spanish or hybrids and they mentioned that some company's bulbs had done this in their trials but didn't say which companies it was and snowdrops can be done in the green or as bulbs just as long as they don't dry out.

I send GA on to you Auricula after I get it from...I'm not sure who I get it from and I think Jilly sends GI on to you after I have sent it to her but I didn't get round to doing December's GI and I think...from the sounds of Ladygardener's post above that there won't be a GA for a little while yet |

I sometimes wonder what's coming and supposed to be going!
In the end I took The Garden and GI to Florida with me at Christmas and finally managed to catch up with myself but in the interests of all the shopping we did I didn't bring them home!

Not as bad as my SIL Jasmine, when she came back from Florida, she ended up throwing away loads of her children's clothes (they wouldn't be going away anywhere hot again until they would have grown out of them apparently) so that she could bring back 5 pairs of boots . It's me that sends you GA Auricula after Ladygardener has sent it to me, I think she said the next one will be the March issue. |

I have to laugh at your SIL Jilly, she had the right idea but I'm not sure I'd have done it. Jasmine many thanks for my magazines, they arrived this morning. I'm really looking forward to reading them. I get GA and send it to Jilly who sends it to Jasmine who then passes it on to Auricula. There most likely won't be much in the feb edition anyhow but it'll all be back to normal March. |

Yes, don't forget me Jilly - I send it to Auricula!!!!! I wasn't sure whether to laugh or cry about your SIL!!!! There was a whole line of folk paying $75 for an extra case when we checked our luggage in on the way home - probably still makes the clothes a bargain!!! |

It did make me laugh Jasmine & Ladygardener, in her defence though niece & nephew are 10 & 11 & I think they'd already bought quite enough new clothes for themselves on that trip to make amends for the old ones. |

Thanks for GI Jasmine which was here when I got home . I'm getting behind with my reading again, nearly finished January's EG but still got February to go. OH arriving back from the shop with the first 2 series of Game of Thrones isn't going to help matters I feel . For some reason I always feel guilty at work sitting reading magazines (surfing the net all day is different  ) |
