Thats what i said when i started this thread, but they wont cos they were mostly Tory voters who protested then,to shift the Labour out, Was the price of petrol not rocketing under Labour, ? has it only gone up since the Tories /Libs got in, and no I didn't put them there.

There's a haulage firm on the local news that has just made most of its staff redundant because of the rise in diesel.

Let's hope they do something in the budget...I think the report said that diesel has gone up 25% in 6 months

130.9 at my local Shell garage which is usually the same price as the local supermarkets.
My friend in America reckons they're paying about $4 a gallon, where as we're paying about $12. Fair enough their average wage isn't as high as ours, but everything else is cheaper in comparison.

I know - what a ridiculous token gesture. I noticed this morning that our local BP (7 miles away) is doing a Happy Hour - 12.30 to 1.30 Monday to Friday - 3p off a litre. That makes quite a difference if you're filling up but there's no point going specially.

No, it's a petrol car but it's an MPV so I guess it might have a big tank I couldn't believe the gauge kept going round and it didn't cut off
