Thanks for that Tig - pretty things actually - I got it out and it fell on it's back - lovely colouring... Decided to take it to a different garden - MrsB's, hahahahaha!! Hope the bugga doesn't come back - I can't look at the leaves of over 100 tomato plants to see if there are any eggs!! I checked the plants just in the area and I can't see anything - hope I don't get an invasion at some point !!

I don't think they are prolific layers RF, if you notice any chewed leaves then perhaps there will be just the one.

I disturbed this dark red moth this afternoon it was hiding in the basket where I keep my pots, it trembled it's way up the wall behind the little hanging basket where I assume it is now.

A couple of Large yellow underwing moths I spied a little while ago. Their underwings are more orange than yellow and they're quite striking in flight.

Smashing visitors to the garden Tig. Here are a few photos Jenny took of the beautiful Burnett 6 Spot Moth the other week. We were just walking around the garden and spotted the flash of red. Super to see.
