FB, I remember Darrans handle . It was the General. He used to go around southend with a big mag mount on top of his MK1 Escort.
I passed my car test 2nd time and my bike test 2nd time too.
My 18yr old daughter took her theory test yesterday and passed. Her driving lessons cost her £18 per hour.

Well that rings a bell and I am not kidding either. I bet I knew somebody that knew him.....We had a MKII Escort it was purple and I think it was a 1600E lovely car till idiot decided to swap it in for a bloody Triumph something or other that had no oil in the engine and seized up. Good grief We also had a gorgeous bright green MKIII Cortina with a black vinyl roof!!!What a hideous looking car, but it didn't half shift Ahhh those were the days nothing to worry about, no bills, out having a good time all the time all you needed was a couple of quids worth of petrol and enough money for an hawian cheese burger from the van at the Weir ;D ;D Congrats to your daughter on passing her theory test - I am dreading taking that

Best burger van in Essex ;D The lads who turned out to be Depeche Mode used to go down there in a big old Zephyr. Which was a shame ! I loved them burgers, I could do with one now actually I'm starving I think every one who was anyone used to hang about down there after chucking out time didn't they? Had some right laughs. ;D
